Let me steer you through the story now, The story of our Creation as written in the Vedas...
The story begins with nothing, absolutely nothing, the way it was when the first god "Brahma" was born or formed, one can never say for sure. Must have been too difficult for him. Imagine you are born in a land of nothing, with the power to create everything, but you don't know What/Why/How/Where....? Unending questions... And as the story progresses, the Creator Brahma learns to build meaningful objects and invents the earth. But the job was tiresome! So he invented some helpers, the other gods to help him. Thats when he did the biggest mistake in his life. He invented a girl! No,no,no ... if you are thinking this was his biggest mistake you are wrong!
But before i tell what was wrong, I ask you a question. would you forgive a mistake if it leads to Creation? Specially , if The "something" which was created was YOU?
In the biggest love story of the millenium, presenting to you - Lord Brahma as Brahma himself, and Lordess Saraswati, created by Brahma himself ( which makes her his daughter, rite??? )...
Hmm, so Brahma invented Saraswati, and gave her the power of Knowledge (and lost his logics i suppose :\ ) and fell in love with her. He approached her with all his Lust... oops Love. Seeing this Saraswati was shocked! "How could my father, my creator have such desires for me?" - she thought and started running, running away from Brahma and in and around the earth. But Brahma didn't give up. He started running too. To evade Brahma, Saraswati started changing her forms with her vast knowledge. And how could Brahma fall behind. He too changed his forms, just to be in touch with Saraswati. From primitive forms they changed to paranormal forms, Brahma keeping pace with Saraswati , the creator along with knowledge, always ensuring to complete the pair. Every life form was invented ensuring a perfect couple was always formed. Now, this point also reveals the fact, why the vedas speak of Gods being in every form. So, if you see yourself in the mirror today, you can imagine you are the form of Brahma, which he took to attract your form of Saraswati. Have i just explained the concept of "The One"!!! And finally you conclude, may be the earth was after all, a creation of a povert god, and the world is a divine comedy!

this also signifies, saraswati is always running away from brahma, and brahma is the greatest pervert whose lust is never satisfied :P
